October 20th was the day that Clayton took on the Cleveland Rams. Tensions were high but support for the Clayton Comets filled the stadium. Students dressed up in pink to show support for breast cancer awareness month. With students stomachs filled with Bojangles and the clock ticking down, the stadium aroused with noise.

The Clayton Comets started out a little bit rough but everything started to uprise when senior, Romeo Stancil, blocked the field goal by the Cleveland Rams. Trevaun Richardson (junior) also created an uprise for the team with scoring four touchdowns and Devin Carter (senior) with one.  With many touchdowns came with an exciting interception by junior, Trevor Van Dyke. These boys have ended up undefeated so far this season and have gained the privilege of Conference Champions.

Even though the tensions and trash talk was high Clayton still pull through with the win against Cleveland (35-13). With two more games to go with the season, the Comets plan on advancing there winning streak throughout playoffs. With the hard work and dedication that they put into the game of football, they believe that anything is possible.
